Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Manager role based in Clawson, MI. The Assistant Manager supports daily operations of the indoor playground, including overseeing staff schedules, monitoring facility cleanliness and safety standards, and ensuring play areas and party rooms are prepared for guests. The role involves supervising team members, assisting with training, and providing guidance to maintain high service quality and a welcoming environment. The Assistant Manager interacts with families and groups, manages reservations and event logistics, addresses customer inquiries or concerns, and helps resolve issues in a timely, professional manner. This position also assists with basic administrative tasks, inventory management, and local marketing initiatives to support revenue growth and community engagement. Qualifications Operations and leadership skills, including experience supervising staff, coordinating schedules, and supporting day-to-day facility management. Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with children, parents, and groups and handle concerns calmly and effectively. Organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage events, reservations, and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Safety and cleanliness awareness, including attention to detail in maintaining a safe play environment and adherence to health, cleanliness, and facility standards. Basic administrative and technology skills, such as using point-of-sale systems, scheduling tools, and standard office software. Prior experience in hospitality, family entertainment, retail, or customer-facing roles is preferred. Ability to stand, move, and assist with light physical tasks throughout shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
