Opa! Athenian Grill is bringing fresh Greek flavor to Bell Tower, and we're building a crew to match. If you like fast-paced shifts, great food, and a team that feels more like family than coworkers, it's time to answer the bell.

Who We Are

Athenian Grill is a family-owned Greek restaurant group that started with one family's kitchen and a handful of recipes passed down through generations. Today we serve guests across Ohio and Kentucky, from neighborhood restaurants to college campuses to athletics catering, and we're still growing. No matter how big we get, we stick to what got us here: fresh ingredients, generous portions, and treating every guest like they just sat down at our family table.

What's a Crew Member?

Our Crew Members are the heart of the operation. You won't be stuck doing one thing all day. You'll learn every station, from prep to grill to counter, so you can jump in wherever the action is. That means more variety, more skills, and a faster path to moving up.

A Day in the Life

• Before the rush: You'll help get the kitchen ready: slicing tomatoes and onions, portioning proteins, whipping up tzatziki, and stocking every station so the line is locked and loaded.
• When the doors open: Students and staff start pouring in between classes. You might be on the grill searing chicken and gyro meat, building bowls and pitas on the line, or greeting guests at the counter.
• During the rush: Tickets are flying, the grill is sizzling, and your crew is working together like a well-oiled machine. Everyone calls out, everyone helps out.
• After the rush: Restock, reset, and clean down your station so the next shift walks into a kitchen they're proud of.

What You'll Be Doing

In the Kitchen

• Prep fresh ingredients daily by washing, slicing, chopping, portioning, and labeling
• Cook proteins and sides on the grill and flat-top to our recipes and standards
• Build pitas, bowls, platters, and salads quickly and accurately
• Check food temperatures and follow proper storage and rotation
• Keep the line fully stocked throughout the shift

At the Counter & Expo

• Greet guests with a smile and help them through the menu
• Take orders and handle payments accurately
• Call out and hand off completed orders, double-checking that everything's right
• Keep the counter, drink station, and dining area clean and welcoming

Everywhere

• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards every single shift
• Wash dishes, take out trash, and help with closing duties
• Communicate with your crew and managers so nothing slips through the cracks
• Jump in wherever your team needs you, because that's how we roll (like a good pita wrap)

You're a Great Fit If You...

• Have restaurant, kitchen, or food service experience, or you're eager to learn and pick things up quickly
• Stay focused, positive, and friendly when the lunch rush hits
• Show up on time and ready to work, every shift
• Take pride in doing things right, even when nobody's watching
• Like being part of a team and bring good energy to the kitchen
• Can follow recipes, directions, and food safety rules
• Can stand for a full shift, work in a hot and fast-moving kitchen, and lift up to 25–50 lbs

Bonus Points (Not Required!)

• Grill, line, or high-volume kitchen experience
• A food handler's or ServSafe certification
• Experience working in campus dining or a food hall
• A genuine love of Greek food (we'll make sure you develop one)
