Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant

Bronson Healthcare in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking an experienced oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its high-performing cancer team at the Bronson Cancer Center Kalamazoo in Kalamazoo, MI. Position Highlights: Will practice in Kalamazoo five days per week at Bronson s brand new facility that opened in January 2021 and Bronson Methodist Hospital Will join a practice consisting of 7 medical oncology & hematology physicians, 6 advanced practice providers, and multiple other clinical staff providing nurse navigation, survivorship, social work, nutritional support, and palliative care This is a hospital-employed inpatient and outpatient position working M-F, 8 am to 5 pm APP will see patients in the outpatient setting and participate in inpatient work on a rotational basis with other APP to include rounding and admissions No call required currently Ideal Candidate will have Medical Oncology and Hematology experience Potential opportunity for an APP leadership role Qualifications: Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program Current unrestricted or pending Licensure in the state of Michigan Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to providing compassionate and quality patient-centered care Bronson Methodist Hospital offers: A supportive and collaborative work environment Competitive compensation with Annual Quality Incentives Comprehensive benefits package Relocation Assistance, CME Stipend and Sign On Bonus About Kalamazoo, Michigan:
