Position: Full-Time Housekeeper (Live-In or Live-Out)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 8:30 AM-4:30/5:00 PM

Salary: $35-$40 per hour, depending on experience

Start Date: ASAP

Overnight Travel Coverage: Required for dog sitting when the family travels. Additional compensation will be provided for overnight pet sitting.

A warm, welcoming, and dog-loving family in North Caldwell, NJ is seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeper to join their household long-term. The family consists of four adults and four beloved dogs and is looking for someone who truly enjoys animals and takes pride in creating a clean, organized, and well-run home.

The household currently employs a part-time housekeeper and a full-time groundskeeper. The family is open to either a live-in or live-out arrangement for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and presentation of the home
• Laundry, ironing, and household organization
• Keep kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas tidy and well maintained
• Prepare healthy, family-style dinners and follow recipes (chef-level experience not required)
• Assist with grocery organization and kitchen upkeep
• Provide loving care for the family's four dogs, including feeding, walking, and general pet care as needed
• Stay overnight with the dogs when the family travels (additional compensation provided)
• Work collaboratively with the existing household staff
• Assist with miscellaneous household tasks and errands as needed

Requirements

• Prior long-term experience working as a housekeeper in a private household
• Excellent recent references
• Strong housekeeping, laundry, and organizational skills
• Comfortable preparing simple, healthy meals and following recipes
• Must be a true dog lover and comfortable caring for multiple dogs
• Willingness to provide overnight pet sitting during family travel (with additional compensation)
• Reliable, professional, discreet, and seeking a long-term commitment
