Job Description
A healthcare organization in the Nashville, TN area is looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist / Pulmonary Function Technologist to join its outpatient pulmonary diagnostics team!
\nThis is a great part-time opportunity for someone looking to pick up additional work alongside their current job , with flexible weekday scheduling and no nights, weekends, or holidays!
\nPosition Highlights:

Part-time, 1099 independent contractor position
\n - \n
Flexible scheduling, 1–5 days per week depending on clinic needs
\n - \n
Monday–Friday daytime hours
\n - \n
No nights, weekends, or holidays
\n - \n
Outpatient pulmonary testing in primary care clinics
\n - \n
Independent work environment with a supportive team
\n - \n
Local travel to assigned clinic locations
\n
Responsibilities:

Perform pulmonary function testing, including pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry
\n - \n
Educate and coach patients through testing procedures
\n - \n
Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients
\n - \n
Ensure accurate results and upload completed tests for pulmonologist review
\n - \n
Maintain equipment and follow quality and safety protocols
\n - \n
Travel to assigned outpatient clinic locations
\n
Qualifications:

- \n
Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential required
\n - \n
Previous spirometry or pulmonary function testing experience
\n - \n
Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and safe albuterol administration
\n - \n
Strong communication and patient care skills
\n - \n
Ability to work independently and travel between clinics
\n - \n
Flexible weekday availability
\n - \n
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
\n
