Bilingual (German/English) Senior Audit Associate

We are seeking qualified candidates for a Bilingual (German/English) Senior Audit Associate to join our practice in the Atlanta, GA office. You will work with a select team providing auditing services to predominately US‑Inbound International Businesses (primarily German/European) in the manufacturing and distribution industry. Our ideal candidate has been with a public accounting firm and is experienced in audit, general accounting, and managing multiple engagements. Responsibilities Lead and supervise audit engagements in a variety of industries concentrating on manufacturing and distribution Develop and execute audit programs by documenting objectives, identifying risks, evaluating controls, and designing test procedures associated with the audit scope Perform technical accounting research on a variety of accounting topics Provide timely and high‑quality services and deliverables that exceed client expectations Maintain active communication to manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction Prepare clear, concise workpapers and other communications Impart knowledge, facilitate staff development, and provide training and learning experiences Effectively delegate and oversee the work efforts by setting goals, providing resources and removing obstacles Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development opportunities Provide timely training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff associates Qualifications Native or fluent proficiency in the German language is required Minimum 3‑5 years of professional experience including experience in public accounting BA/BS degree in Accounting or Masters degree in Accounting/Taxation Dedication to teamwork and leadership Integrity within a professional environment Excellent research, writing and communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications CPA license or similar certification Experience in the manufacturing and distribution industry ProSystem fx Engagement CCH Axcess Benefits 401K plan (with up to 5% salary paid employer contributions) Medical coverage Paid Dental coverage Employee and Dependent life insurance Disability insurance Vision insurance Accidental death & dismemberment insurance Flexible spending accounts Paid Day of Service annually Flexible work arrangements Generous paid time off – 25 days for all full‑time employees!
