Job Title: Light Industrial - Material Handler I
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Loudon, TN (onsite)
Contract Duration: 18 weeks
Work Hours: 6am-2pm M-F

Environmental Support Material Handler

Job Description:

• MUST provide their own Steel Toed Shoes - Will be provided with safety vest, hearing protection, and safety glasses (over regular glasses).
• 6am-2pm M-F with occasional work hours outside the norm for emergencies (Must be comfortable with on-call if needed - not often).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years Forklift/Clamp experience
• Basic computer skills
• High School Diploma
• Must be reliable and able to work on-call outside of normal business hours if needed (to assist with chemical spills)
• Experience in a manufacturing setting required - will be self managed, so they need to be comfortable in manufacturing setting and familiar with general safety protocols.

Time consuming work – waste management 5S housekeeping, storage shed organization, pallet recycling, forklift experience and low-level computer skills. Some computer work, (SDS sheets), so must have good technical skills. Training will be provided on computer systems. Hazardous waste exposure (RCRA DOT certification) 8-hour classes will be part of training. Removing barrels, chemicals. Will also require performing some outdoor activities. Will be using SKU’s – printing, Excel reports (will be trained on it).

Must have manufacturing experience. Self-managed, so they need to be familiar with manufacturing setting and safety protocols. Extended physical labor, must be comfortable working independently.
