Lead Backend Engineer - Fintech APIs & AI Systems (Hybrid)

FIS in Chicago is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with strong back-end expertise to drive Java and Spring Boot-based services, APIs, and integrations for scalable fintech applications. You will collaborate with designers, engineers and product managers, mentor engineers, review pull requests, and help set sprint goals while balancing hands-on coding with strategic direction.
