Schedule

Shift: Days, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, Every Other Weekend (EOW). Floating and holiday work required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse. You will be responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. You will collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achieve desired patient outcomes. The position requires medication administration using bedside scanning.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care through assessment and evaluation.
• Coordinate nursing care based on established clinical practices.
• Administer medications accurately and safely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and manage Med Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Recent experience in an acute care setting is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Recent Cerner charting experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an RN is required.
• At least 2 completed travel assignments are required.
