Job Title: Material Handler

Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, the Material Handler is responsible for handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products within manufacturing areas according to established guidelines. This role supports daily operations by ensuring materials are accurately tracked, properly stored, and efficiently moved throughout the facility.


Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, move, and store materials within the facility
• Maintain the flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas
• Provide accurate information for recording movement of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies
• Pick, stage, and prepare materials for production or shipment
• Inspect materials for damage and ensure proper handling
• Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
• Basic knowledge of warehouse or manufacturing operations
• Experience operating material handling equipment is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Work Environment:
Manufacturing or warehouse setting involving physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting, and operating equipment throughout the shift.
