# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Intermediate Care Unit – Georgia Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 48 hours per week, nurse-to-patient ratio 1:4 Highlights:

• Intermediate Care Unit serving 10-16 beds with acute patient population
• Diverse case mix including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, diabetes management, substance abuse, and encephalopathy
• Experience with critical drips including heparin protocols
• Stable staffing ratios supporting quality patient care and nurse satisfaction
• Immediate contract opportunity in a major metropolitan healthcare setting

Requirements:

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse license (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum 2 years of recent IMCU, step-down, or progressive care experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• Demonstrated competency managing medically complex patients and critical drips
