Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights) | Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge as needed per unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to sick or premature newborns in a highly specialized Level IV NICU setting
• Manage and monitor patients requiring advanced treatment for respiratory failure and heart disease
• Perform telemetry monitoring and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Participate in rotating shift coverage including days, evenings, and nights as well as weekends and holidays
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as determined by unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (NY license only)
• Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience
• Telemetry experience required
• NRP 8th Edition Certification required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU environment
• Experience caring for neonates with complex cardiac or respiratory conditions
