Location: Hybrid Onsite (3 days onsite in Mclean, VA/Plano, TX)
Duration: 6-12+ months Contract
Must Haves:
Hadoop administration is 70% of this requirement, 5+ years of hands-on experience is an absolute must have here. Hands on experience with AWS, with hands on experience working with one of the following; Cloud Formation Templates (CFTs) (preferred), Terraform, Ansible etc. Linux Shell scripting would make up about 10% of this requirement and is also a must have. Python is a must have, Java would be a plus. PySpark would also be a plus. Hands on experience with scheduling tools like Autosys or Control M is required.
Job Description/Requirements:
- We have Hadoop platform to support users.
- Will be developing additional notes, working on User stories.
- Hadoop administration is must have
- Troubleshooting exp is also must have
- AWS experience is required
- CFT development, VPC experience would be a plus.
- Python exp is highly preferred but Java will also work.
- PySpark and boto3 exp would be beneficial
- Familiarity with scheduling tools like Autosys or Control M
- Hive exp is must have
- Shell scripting exp is required
