Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMC/Stepdown) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by overseeing the nursing care and monitoring clinical care for oncology and trauma patients.
• Monitor and adjust patient drips, including chemotherapy, heparin, and cardizem.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including PT/OT, RN case managers, and dieticians, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation using the EPIC EMR system.
• Participate actively in patients' recovery process, providing education and support to both patients and families.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures, including strict adherence to the fingernail policy.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with eligibility to work in Nebraska.
• 1 year of RN experience, preferably in PCU and/or Oncology settings.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; chemotherapy certification preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system desirable.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights.
• Demonstrated teamwork abilities and cultural competence in patient care delivery.
