Next Gen Director/Minister

NEXT GEN DIRECTOR/MINISTER Centennial Baptist Church – Rutledge, GA is seeking a part-time Next Gen Leader to provide consistent, caring, and safe leadership for our student ministry. Centennial Baptist Church believes in leading, equipping, and strengthening the next generation of leaders. We seek an energetic, Christ-centered, mature Christian to guide our Next Generation in spiritual growth and community engagement. DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the Pastor and Church Leadership, the Next Gen Leader shall be responsible for leading the Church in reaching students for Christ. The general duties shall include, but not be limited to, the process of motivating, equipping, leading, growing, inspiring, and spiritually developing 6th-12th grade students. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ, with a humble and teachable spirit. 2. Be knowledgeable of basic Baptist doctrine and agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. 3. Ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and church members. 4. Possess strong leadership and communication skills. 5. Experienced with church ministries, particularly next gen ministries. 6. Demonstrates a consistent lifestyle of Christlikeness, reflected in personal character, spiritual maturity, integrity, relationships, and conduct both within and outside the church. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Strive to disciple students and reach the lost for Christ. 2. Lead in planning, developing, and implementing a growing ministry to students. Meet regularly with the youth ministry leadership team and youth parents. 3. Lead outreach efforts to students, including training in personal evangelism. 4. Provide counseling. 5. Lead weekly student worship service on Wednesday nights during the school year. 6. Arrange annual conferences, camps, retreats, etc. that result in spiritual and numerical growth. 7. Plan, develop, and provide regular, year-round fellowship activities for students. 8. Work with the Finance team to develop and implement a budget. 9. Coordinate visits as needed to students. 10. Be involved in the overall ministry of the church. 11. Cooperation with all other ministries and church staff. 12. Coordinate with the youth Sunday morning small group leader on curriculum topics. PRIORITIES: 1. Deep, Biblical Teaching 2. Spiritual Formation of the Students 3.
