As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, residential areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the surrounding property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
