We are seeking a skilled Diesel and Gasoline Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the maintenance/repair of diesel and gasoline engines. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet, which includes heavy equipment. The Mechanic will work utilizing their technical expertise to diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs. 

Duties:

-conduct routine maintenance and repairs on gas & diesel engines, including troubleshooting and diagnostics

-Utilize hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment to assess mechanical issues

-Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed and parts used

-Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair tasks while adhering to safety protocols

Experience:

-Proved experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred

-Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair techniques specific to gas engines

-Experience operating heavy equipment and understanding its mechanical systems

-Experience in auto field as a mid-level tech with diagnostic experience willing to learn heavy duty truck repair encouraged to apply

-Experience working on zero-turns and small engine equipment

-Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues
