Key Responsibilities of the Postpartum Registered Nurse

Provide comprehensive care for postpartum mothers and their newborns
Collaborate with healthcare team to implement care plans tailored to patient needs
Monitor and assess patient conditions and report necessary information to physicians
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for mother and baby

Requirements of the Postpartum Registered Nurse

Current MA RN License
BLS Certification
NRP Certification
Minimum 2 years of current postpartum experience
Previous couplet care experience
Travel experience required
