Operating from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company‑provided straight or box truck, you will manage the flow of cylinders while building lasting relationships with customers. You will be part of a supportive professional team that encourages personal growth and internal mobility, while ensuring a healthy work/life balance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Cylinder Handling: Safely load, deliver and unload cylinders containing compressed gases at external and internal customer locations. Record Keeping: Accurately record deliveries and pick‑ups on a load manifest, obtain customer signatures, collect empty or unsold cylinders and return them for refilling. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA and OSHA. Warehouse Support: Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed. Required Qualifications Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License. Valid Medical Examiner’s Card. Hazmat Endorsement (or willingness to obtain). Minimum one year of prior Class A or B professional driving experience within the last five years and a clean driving record (criteria described). Accredited driving school diploma may be considered in lieu of experience. Must be at least 21 years old. Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets. Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs and occasionally 76–125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment. Must be able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending required. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure. Must obtain forklift operator certification.
