Senior Associate, Transaction Management

Who You’ll Work With:The Senior Associate, Transaction Management will be responsible for the diligence review and closing of both flow and bulk residential loan acquisitions for AB CarVal Loan Portfolios. This individual will work closely with a wide variety of parties both within AB CarVal and externally.This position will report to the Director, Investment Operations. The role will be located in Minnesota.What You’ll Do:Transaction Management – 70%Responsible for loan re-underwriting, analysis, presentation and submission process for settlementCollaborate with the AB CarVal Loan Portfolios commercial team and external partnersEnsure compliance with closing schedules and document submissionsAssist with maintenance of office pipeline reportsAssist in managing the timely receipt and delivery of all third-party reports and documentsProvide day-to-day operational input on residential loan transactionsQuickly evaluate complex situations that arise and use good judgement to propose solutionsBusiness Partnering – 30% Make judgement-based decisions related to the operations function and assume responsibility for the impact to the businessUnderstand key areas of the residential loan investment transactions/business and anticipate potential issues; proactively communicate solutions to others within the team or managementWhat We’re Looking For:RequiredBachelor’s degree in Real Estate or Finance, or equivalent education and related training5+ years of direct transaction management experienceExcellent organizational skills and drive to succeedDemonstrated ability to meet deadlinesMaturity and self-confidence to simultaneously handle a variety of assignmentsAbility to work harmoniously with internal/external workers/customersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPrior history of working in a high-volume loan production officeWho We Are:AB CarVal is an established global alternative investment manager and part of AllianceBernstein’s Private Alternatives business. Base salary is just one component of total compensation at AB CarVal, which may include, depending on eligibility, commissions, year-end incentive compensation, short- and long-term incentives and Department-specific awards.
