Requirements

• Required certification: ICU
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required; 18 months general unit experience if not otherwise specified 2. Cases: 1:2 ratio all shifts; 4 bed ICU; cardiac monitoring, emergency response, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, multi-system organ failure, IV insulin protocols, renal failure experience required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH (NIHSS) required; AHA and Red Cross only, RQI cards not accepted; copies required at submission 4. License: Active IL license required in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Nights 1900-0730; every other weekend; no call required; float as needed 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 or less non-holiday days; more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent/PRN candidates must be separated 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no radius restriction for this specialty 11. Background: Background check hits must be noted upon submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; completed pre-start, renewed annually; strict 4PM CST Day 1 deadline 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Any solid color 15.
