Speech-Language Pathologist Outpatient!

What we are looking for:  Metros Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a part-time or full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to work in 2 of our outpatient clinics (Bayside Queens & Great Neck). Caseload is mixed and demographics include Aphasia Dysphagia Pediatrics TBI Voice Cognitive Communication Disorders AAC use etc. Experience with both adults and pediatrics is required. 

Metro is looking for a motivated compassionate forward-thinking Speech Therapist who excels at assessing patients strengths and weaknesses and devising creative but effective treatment plans. Were looking for flexible and all-in teammates who are excited by the opportunity to take on emerging challenges.

• Pay salary: $65000- $90000 per year
• Location:  Bayside Queens and Great Neck
• Schedule: Mon-Fri
• Work setting:  Outpatient Clinic

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
• Evaluates a patients need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members Home Health Aides and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid AED & CPR Certifications (live course)
