About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid compact or state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidates must have experience in IV start and telemetry. Epic experience is required. Must be willing to float to different units as needed. Description: Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the PCU Float position. This role requires a minimum of one year of experience. Candidates with only one year of experience will be reviewed by the hiring manager. Must be able to float to assigned units as necessary. Night shift position requiring 36 hours per week. Candidates may be assigned weekend shifts based on staffing needs. Nurse will care for step-down and PCU-type patients. The patient ratio will be three patients per nurse. Must possess essential skills including arterial line management, telemetry, and feeding tube care. Familiarity with isolation precautions and management of various medical devices is required. A comprehensive understanding of patient care protocols, including heparin and insulin protocols, is essential. Interdisciplinary support will be available from various clinical teams. Candidates must ensure compliance with credentialing and fingerprinting processes upon hiring. Two professional references are required, including one from a supervisor or manager. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
