Pay From: $39 Per Hour

MUST:
The interventional radiology tech should have the following:
1 + years of experience as a radiology tech
ARRT Certification
Experience with C-Arm and Ultrasound equipment-interventional radiology
Must have experienced in the endovascular field
Experience assisting in interventional radiology procedures
Experience monitoring and overseeing equipment
Interventional Radiology certificate preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
BLS

DUTIES:
The duties of the Interventional Radiology Tech include but are not limited to the following:
Review procedure orders to determine materials and supplies needed
Explain procedure s to patients
Prepare patients for procedures
Assist with endovascular procedures
Set up procedure room with necessary equipment
Draw up Intravenous medication
Enter patient data into C-Arm
Processes X-ray images and save
Attend meetings with physicians
Enter CPT and ICD-9 codes for billing and ensure accuracy
Maintain and order supplies
