Full Stack Engineer
As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll work across the entire stack—from database and backend services to the front-end UI—modernizing and maintaining this large-scale, high-availability system. This is a key technical role where your input directly impacts public services and transportation efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize full stack components across all layers: data, application, front-end, and testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational tolling services and system integrations
- Migrate and modernize legacy components to scalable, cloud-ready architectures
- Implement and support messaging and event-driven systems (RabbitMQ)
- Work with DevOps, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployments and support CI/CD
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and automated UI tests
- Document APIs, workflows, and system integrations using Open API / Swagger
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability
- On-call support team rotation

- Microsoft SQL Server
- T-SQL (Transact-SQL)
- Entity Framework
- ADO.NET
- SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
2. Application Layer:
- ASP.NET Core (C#)
- ASP.NET MVC & WebForms (Legacy support)
- RabbitMQ (Message broker/event-driven architecture)
- Windows Services (background job processing)
3. Front-End Layer:
- Vue.js
- JavaScript (ES6+)
- HTML5 / CSS3
4. Testing & Documentation Layer:
- NUnit (Unit Testing)
- Swagger / OpenAPI (API Documentation)
- Sauce Labs (Cross-browser and UI test automation)
5. Azure DevOps Server:
- Build pipelines
- Release pipelines
- Git repos
- Experience with SAST & SCA integration for vulnerability management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience building and supporting full stack.NET applications
- Deep understanding of relational databases and T-SQL optimization
- Experience working with legacy systems and modernizing to.NET Core or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with asynchronous messaging patterns (RabbitMQ a plus)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
