Phlebotomist

Job Summary Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to work at 645 Antelope Boulevard Suite 20, Red Bluff, CA. Work schedule: Monday‑Friday 7:00am–4:00pm with potential overtime and rotating weekends. The role is based primarily at the patient service center. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Basic Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Valid California State‑issued Phlebotomy License Preferred Qualifications At least 1 month of experience as a phlebotomist Current or prior experience with Labcorp Additional Job Standards In lieu of a state license, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at the time of hire may satisfy the requirement Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proven track record of exceptional customer service Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to attend 2‑week training in California Pay and Incentives Pay Range: $21.00 – $33.00 per hour. Qualified PSTs may be eligible for the PST Incentive Plan, providing a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
