About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to play a pivotal role in the enterprise-wide operational leadership. The successful candidate will be a key partner to the Chief Operating Officer, driving operational priorities and performance standards across the Installation & Maintenance and Engineering & Consulting segments. This high-visibility role demands a leader who can connect with segment Presidents and their teams, ensuring consistency, accountability, and growth across a decentralized, multi-company platform. The VP of Operations will be responsible for owning the enterprise operating rhythm, identifying and driving cross-segment synergies, and leading efforts to solve complex operational challenges. The role also involves supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses and providing input on operational resourcing and capital investment priorities. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA strongly preferred, and at least 15 years of progressive people management experience. A background in consulting, management, or senior operational leadership, with a proven track record of solving operational problems and improving business performance at scale, is essential. The role requires the ability to work effectively in both union and non-union environments, strong communication and analytical skills, and the capacity to influence and partner with senior leaders. Experience in service-based environments, particularly in installation, maintenance, or engineering, is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong executive presence, the ability to operate independently, and a history of leading through organizational growth and transformation.
