Permanent Ultrasound TechnicianMelissa Owens | PresidentE: View email address on click.appcast.io:Competitive SalaryMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceShort and Long Term DisabilityLife Insurance401(k) PlanPaid Vacation & HolidayJob Responsibilities:Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concernPrepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsiesReport to the appropriate medical staff of any abnormalities that require immediate attentionMaintain sonography equipment and report machinery failureConduct scan testsManage several patients and priorities and be able to adapt to a fast-paced work environmentWork under minimal supervision and cooperate with other team membersQuality Assurance on equipment.Requirements:Current State LicenseAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS)Specialized training (continuing education/certificates)Continuing education- this requirement specifies that an average of 5 ECE's/year be specific to breast ultrasound)
