Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Havre, MT as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials according to protocol, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images. You will perform radiographic and CT procedures with independent judgment under the direction of the Radiologist and Department Director and assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited high school or equivalent. Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or equivalent program. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in Radiography and CT. Required to be a licensed technologist by the State of Montana and the Montana Board of Radiologic Technologists. Knowledge and demonstrated ability to work with patient populations across the lifespan. Experience performing CT and radiographic procedures in a hospital setting. BLS certification. Must be willing to travel to assignments that exceed a 250-mile radius from the facility. Candidates residing within the 250-mile radius will not be considered. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience. Experience performing general abdominal/obstetrical and small parts ultrasound is preferred. Assignment Details Day shift. No weekends. May perform duties under the direction of the Radiologist and Department Director and assume responsibility for designated procedures and areas as required.
