Heavy Housekeeping / Floor Care – Full-Time
$17.00/hour | 40 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday
Pennswood Village is seeking a Full-Time Heavy Housekeeper/Floor Care Tech to join our team. If you take pride in your work, enjoy working independently, and are looking for a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, we'd like to meet you.
Experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person who is dependable and ready to learn.
The Position
As a Floor Care Technician, you'll help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of our beautiful senior living community by:
- Cleaning and maintaining carpeted and hard-surface floors
- Operating floor-care equipment and completing scheduled floor maintenance
- Providing floor care throughout resident hallways, common areas, offices, meeting spaces, fitness and pool areas, and our Health Center
- Moving furniture and equipment as needed to complete floor-care assignments
- Working independently while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment
Qualifications
- Floor care, housekeeping, or institutional cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Willingness to learn floor-care equipment and techniques
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently
