Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Role Overview: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates nuclear medicine imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment, ensuring high-quality images and radiation safety. Responsibilities Operate imaging equipment and software to acquire diagnostic images. Maintain radiation safety standards and high image quality. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Follow complex instructions with attention to detail. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine. Certification through NMTCB or ARRT (N) or eligible to achieve registration within 2 months. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Knowledge of imaging equipment operation and software. Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail skills.
