Part-time Mobile Phlebotomist Technician

We are seeking a professional, Part-time Mobile Phlebotomist Technician, preferably with knowledge or experience in Clinical Research. Clinical Investigation Specialists, Inc., is a Clinical Research company. We conduct Phase II-Phase IV trials for many Worldwide Pharmaceutical Companies. The position of Mobile Phlebotomist Technician is a mobile position working out of 3 clinics. It requires routine interface with patients and other clinical staff. The Phlebotomist Technician reports directly to the Director of Clinical Trials. The position facilitates the daily workflow for both Clinical Coordinators and Investigators. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Travel to multiple clinics Self-directed. Able to work independently with little supervision. Excellent patient communication skills Medical Assistant Certification and/or experience in clinical setting is preferred. Computer skills such as Excel, Microsoft Word is preferred. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Process blood work including centrifuging, packaging and shipping specimens. Follow up on lab reports / troubleshooting lab delays. CLIA waived lab testing including UA, pregnancy testing and A1c. Handle incoming lab shipments, organize and maintains lab and exam rooms. Inventory all necessary equipment and supplies. Assist Coordinators & Investigators with organizing charts, file lab reports. Attend clinical study initiation visits and staff meetings as requested by management.
