Qualifications:

• AAS Degree in Administration/Child Development or Related Discipline
• Three (3) Years' Experience in child care setting
• Related Management and Supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities/Duties:

Responsible for the overall operations of assigned Head Start centers and maintain all center activities. Motivate, guide and direct the Head Start staff at the center level in a manner that supports the philosophy and the policies of Luzerne County Head Start, Inc.

Terms of Employment:

Conditions of Employment Luzerne County Head Start requires staff to possess current, valid Background Clearances (3) per state/federal regulations. Position will require record check approval of driving record by LCHS Insurance Provider, as this position is considered a designated position requiring driving as an essential job function. Proof of Degree/Certification and Experience Required to meet the Qualifications for position.

Hours & Salary Full Time/10-month position works a school year August -June annually, 37.5 hrs/wk Exempt/Salaried position, $37,410/year For those who possess Bilingual Abilities – 5% additional pay
