Medical Assistant - Certified Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant – Internal Medicine / Family MedicineSchedule8-hour shifts between 08:00–18:00.Assignment DetailsFloats to other internal medicine and family medicine clinics.RequirementsMinimum 2 years recent outpatient clinic experience.Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.High school diploma or GED.Recent proficiency with venipuncture required.BLS certification (AHA or ARC only).Experience with charting in Epic preferred.ResponsibilitiesCollect specimens and perform venipunctures.Room patients and obtain vital signs.Take patient histories.Assist with EKGs and basic procedures.Conduct point-of-care testing, including urinalysis and strep tests.Provide immunizations and basic medication administration.Engage in telephone triage as needed.Compliance / NotesOrientation of 160 hours will be provided.
