Job Description Scaffold Estimator – Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Scaffold Estimator for its Los Angeles, CA operations based in Anaheim, CA. Salary range is between $125,000 - $150,000. Job Responsibilities Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects Generate business leads Ensure projects are estimated thoroughly and timely Establish labor productivity for estimates Understand market conditions, including competitive approach, backlog, risk, and other factors for establishing margin percentages Conduct internal bid reviews with management, operations, and cost controls team members Create and maintain positive relationships with customers and PCI team members Initiate and participate in customer alignment events Administer contracts for secured projects Conduct project hand‑offs of secured projects to the Operations Team Attend job walks Support team bid‑log efforts and customer and project tracking Assist in providing change order management and billings for each project Basic Requirements At least 5 years of experience estimating construction projects Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field, or 5 years of comparable work experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word Clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a team environment Ability to learn new job skills through technical engagement Superb customer service skills Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills Ability to multitask Ability to build strong relationships with customers Positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit Preferred Requirements Experience with erection and dismantling of scaffold preferred Technical knowledge of systems, frame & brace, shoring, swing stage, and tube & clamp scaffold preferred Experience working with union representatives preferred OSHA Certification Local to the Los Angeles and Orange County areas Benefits Competitive pay Incentive bonus plan Employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) 401(k) retirement savings plan with match Medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision insurance plans with flexible spending account option Life insurance, AD&D, and disability benefits Employee assistance program (EAP) Flexible paid time off policy and paid holidays PCG provides equal employment and affirmative action opportunities to applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability.
