Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Daycare Provider role located in Sunray, TX. The Daycare Provider is responsible for supervising and caring for young children in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment. Daily tasks include planning and leading age-appropriate activities, supporting early childhood learning, and assisting with meals, rest periods, and personal care as needed. The role involves maintaining a clean and orderly classroom or care area, monitoring children’s safety and behavior, and following district policies and state regulations. The Daycare Provider will communicate regularly with caregivers and school staff, document observations, and collaborate with others to support each child’s individual needs. Qualifications Experience and skills in Day Care and Childcare, including providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children. Knowledge of Early Childhood Development and age-appropriate educational and play activities. Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with children, caregivers, and school staff. Demonstrated ability and comfort Working With Children in group settings, including behavior guidance and positive reinforcement. High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or certification in early childhood education or childcare preferred. Ability to follow safety procedures, emergency protocols, and regulatory guidelines. Dependable, patient, and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy childcare environment.
