Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate patient care, including assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide empathetic care to patients throughout all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Demonstrate nursing competency and utilize comprehensive expertise.

Qualifications

A graduate from an accredited nursing program is required, which may include institutions recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A Bachelor's Degree in nursing is preferred.

Applicants must hold an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the state where they will practice, or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Candidates should obtain and maintain the necessary department-specific competencies and certifications.
