About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its leadership team. The CFO will play a pivotal role in the organization's strategic and operational activities, with a focus on market growth, efficiency, and sustainability. This executive will be responsible for providing financial leadership and oversight, serving as a strategic advisor to the CEO, and ensuring the financial health of the system. Key responsibilities include direct oversight of all financial operations, such as accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and managed care contracting. The CFO will also be a vital link between the organization and the Board, and must be adept at developing and maintaining strong relationships with both clinical and non-clinical staff. The ideal candidate for the CFO position at the company will have a strong background in healthcare finance, a contemporary financial mindset, and a proven track record of leadership and team development. They should be a strategic thinker, a problem solver, and possess the highest level of integrity with a strong mission orientation. Experience in an independent health system is a plus. The CFO must be able to motivate and influence others, and be committed to the delivery of high-quality care. A performance-driven approach to financial and operational stewardship is essential, as is the ability to optimize financial systems and processes within a healthcare setting.
