Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient group in the operating room according to established standards and the nursing process.
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively and facilitate safe, efficient care throughout procedures.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, delegating tasks appropriately.
• Coordinate care with the surgical team, anesthesia, and other disciplines, using critical thinking and professional judgment.
• Maintain sterile technique, infection control, and accurate documentation of care and outcomes.

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• Minimum 1 year of perioperative/operating room nursing experience; travel OR experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work a 4x10-hour day shift schedule
• Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment and complete credentialing processes
