Electrical Systems Power Engineer

Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in innovative silicon products, is seeking a Electrical Systems Power Engineer to join their team. As a Electrical Systems Power Engineer, you will be part of the Power & Performance Customer Attainment team supporting system-level power validation and debugging. The ideal candidate will have curiosity, coachability, and the ability to learn quickly, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Electrical Systems Power Engineer Location: Austin, TX (onsite) What's the Job? Perform system-level power and performance measurements on client laptops and OEM platforms such as HP, Lenovo, and Dell Measure and collect data on CPU power, display power, memory power, and subsystem power Execute tests, analyze data, and report results to senior engineers Participate in power and performance analysis discussions to optimize product performance Collaborate with multifunctional teams and external vendors to debug and improve power models and drivers What's Needed? Recent college graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or candidates with 3–5 years of relevant experience Strong fundamentals in analog/digital design, signal/power integrity, and system architecture Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and spectrum analyzers Knowledge of CPU architecture, BIOS, OS, and hardware interaction at the system level What's in it for me?
