Quality Inspector - Precision Sheet Metal Manufacturing

$17.50-$20.00/hr DOE


We are hiring an experienced Quality Inspector for a growing precision sheet metal manufacturing operation. We are specifically looking for candidates with previous sheet metal quality inspection experience .


Responsibilities
* Inspect sheet metal parts throughout fabrication, painting, assembly, and finishing
* Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
* Perform visual and dimensional inspections
* Inspect incoming materials, components, subassemblies, and finished assemblies
* Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
* Identify defects and dimensional discrepancies
* Document and communicate quality concerns
* Audit processes for compliance with established QMS procedures
* Follow safety and quality requirements


Requirements
* Previous sheet metal Quality Inspection experience strongly preferred
* 1-2+ years of related experience
* Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and gauges
* Blueprint reading required
* Understanding of tolerances and dimensional specifications
* Strong attention to detail
* Basic math and computer skills
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
* ISO/QMS knowledge is a plus


This is not an entry-level Quality position. Candidates should have previous manufacturing inspection experience, preferably in precision sheet metal fabrication.
