We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing IT Developer III to join our client's team in the Trenton/Aiken, SC area. This role is critical in bridging manufacturing operations with advanced IT solutions, ensuring seamless integration between production systems and enterprise software. The ideal candidate will leverage deep expertise in Wonderware, T-SQL, and.NET technologies to develop, implement, and support industrial automation applications. You will take full ownership of projects from initial design through post-implementation support, working collaboratively within a dynamic team to drive operational efficiency and system reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain industrial automation applications using Wonderware and related platforms.
• Write and optimize advanced T-SQL queries and stored procedures for data acquisition and reporting.
• Develop and support web-based and desktop applications using VB.NET, ADO.NET, and ASP.NET.
• Integrate PLC data into enterprise systems using Kepware and other data acquisition tools.
• Lead projects from concept to deployment, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and ensure system stability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and IT staff.
• Support legacy systems and ensure compatibility with evolving manufacturing technologies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in .NET development with a focus on VB.NET, ADO.NET, and ASP.NET.
• Advanced knowledge of T-SQL programming and database optimization.
• Extensive experience with Wonderware software tools and industrial control system integration.
• Proven ability to own and deliver projects end-to-end, from design to post-implementation support.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset with a track record of working effectively in team settings.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT discipline.
• Experience with Kepware and other PLC data acquisition platforms is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with classic ASP and handheld Zebra devices/scanners is a plus.
