End Date: 05/12/2027

Shift: 3x13-Hour shifts (6:00 AM – 7:00 PM) including nights and weekends, primarily Friday nights and weekends

Hours/Week: 39 hours/week

Employment Type: Contract

Licenses/Certifications: MA license (or PAs with license application), ACLS, BLS, DEA

Experience: 2+ years in critical care

Hourly Rate: $97.48/hour (including overtime pay at same rate, with holiday pay at 1.4x)

Support adult ICU patients in a busy teaching hospital setting

Collaborate with supervising MD and fellow APPs during day and night shifts

Participate in rounding, patient assessments, and responding clinician duties

Provide bedside care for a typical census of 7 adult patients

Document clinical activities using Epic EMR software

Ensure compliance with all hospital protocols and safety standards

Contribute to a multidisciplinary team dedicated to quality patient care

Required:

MA license (or PA license with application; no NPs needing licensing due to timeframe)

2+ years of critical care experience in ICU

ACLS & BLS certifications

DEA registration

Ability to work rotating day/night shifts, including weekends

Preferred:

Experience in adult ICU with bread-and-butter procedures; no complex neuro or transplant cases required

Strong teamwork, communication, and responding clinician skills

This assignment involves working in a cutting-edge ICU within a teaching hospital. The APP will act as a responding clinician, providing bedside assessments and collaborating closely with supervising physicians. No procedures are required; the focus is on responding clinical care for adult ICU patients, with an emphasis on teamwork and efficient patient management.
