What You'll Do

• Provide excellent table service to residents during meal times
• Greet residents warmly and build positive relationships
• Assist with meal setup, beverage service, and dining room cleanliness
• Ensure residents receive meals according to dietary needs and preferences
• Work closely with the culinary and care teams to provide outstanding resident experiences
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe dining environment

What We're Looking For

• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Dependable, team-oriented, and compassionate personality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or senior living experience preferred, but not required
• Willingness to learn and serve seniors with patience and respect

The Monarch at Richardson , an AgeWell Senior Living managed community, is currently hiring for our beautiful senior living community located in Richardson, TX . We offer both Assisted Living and Memory care services to our residents and are located in a multiplex area which allows for easy access to the community by public transportation such as bus and train transportation. Purpose:

Our Dining Room Server performs a variety of functions in the dining room to ensure residents have a pleasant dining experience.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Similar experience preferable
• The ability to work in a team environment and work flexible shifts
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

Essential Functions:

• Takes resident(s) meal orders and serves meals correctly and efficiently
• Provides delivery of orders to resident apartments upon request
• Sets tables with napkins and tableware
• Refills condiments and salt and pepper shakers
• Sets up and keeps salad and dessert counter supplied
• Cleans dining room tables and chairs and vacuums dining room
• May perform other duties as needed
• May have their picture taken and image used in social media or community advertising
• May be video recorded from devices installed by families in residents' apartments
