2027 Summer Intern, Research & Development Quality

Bristol Myers Squibb

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a summer intern for the Research & Development Quality department to support quality assurance, auditing, and compliance activities across the drug development pipeline. The intern will work on project-based initiatives focused on process improvements, data analysis, and operational excellence while gaining hands-on experience in pharmaceutical quality oversight.

Responsibilities

Support quality oversight, auditing, compliance, and risk management activities across RDQ
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality systems, vendor oversight, and inspection readiness initiatives
Assist in developing audit risk assessment tools, templates, metrics, and reporting capabilities
Participate in project-based work addressing business needs and strategic priorities within RDQ
Research and present emerging trends and innovative solutions relevant to R&D Quality operations

Requirements

Enrolled in accredited university program in Data Science, Statistics, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Health Sciences
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Authorization to work in the US for internship duration
Returning to university after summer 2027 internship (not graduating before December 2027)
