Trailer Inspector / Cross-Border Logistics Coordinator

Pay: $16.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:30 PM
Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) required

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Trailer Inspector / Cross-Border Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for conducting trailer inspections, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, and supporting cross-border logistics activities. The ideal candidate will have trailer inspection experience, be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and have strong bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

Perform thorough trailer inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Document inspection findings and report discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns.
Conduct outdoor inspections, including during extreme heat and varying weather conditions.
Coordinate and support cross-border logistics operations between the United States and Mexico.
Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams in both English and Spanish.
Verify trailer conditions before shipment and upon arrival.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and inspection documentation.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Previous experience conducting trailer inspections and/or trailer audits .
Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability and willingness to work outdoors for extended periods.
Knowledge and experience in cross-border logistics operations .
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to identify safety concerns and equipment deficiencies.
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in transportation, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
Familiarity with DOT regulations and trailer safety standards.
Experience working with carriers, customs processes, or cross-border freight movements.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and inspect equipment for extended periods.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat.
Ability to bend, climb, and maneuver around trailers safely.

Qualified candidates must have trailer inspection experience, bilingual communication skills, cross-border logistics knowledge, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
