Location : 043 - Camp Bullis Cust Camp Bullis Custodial 4505 Camp Bullis Road, Building 6209 San Antonio, TX 78257, USA Schedule : Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm Position Summary Position is a temporary position, 2-4 months, then may turn into as needed. The Janitor cleans all working areas and washrooms, or premises of a building. The Duties involve a combination of the following: Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, removing trash, dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures. This position requires a valid driver's license. The general responsibilities of this position include those listed below, but the organization may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among job sites, depending on business necessities and client requirements. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Cleans floors, bathrooms, working areas of buildings and other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing. Inspect all equipment for proper operations prior to using. Performs high and low dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, spot cleaning, and trash removal as needed. Help organize site supplies by replenishing supplies as needed. Empties and decontaminate trash containers. Disposes of infectious waste when assigned. Mixes or blends routine cleaning solutions to proper concentration as necessary for various tasks. Washes blinds, windows, screens, sills and walls with prescribed solutions. Launder rags, mops, etc. from sites. Identifies, and reports any potential safety hazards to Supervisor. Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Adheres to Operations Security (OPSEC) standard operations procedures. Adheres to Property Control Plan for management of Government Furnished Property (GFP). Adheres to the safety and health program that complies with EM 385-1-1 and applicable OSHA, DOD, Armed Forces Branch(s), Federal, state, and local safety, environmental and health requirements. Maintain a site-specific Accident Prevention Plan (APP) in accordance with Appendix A, EM 385-1-1. Other tasks as directed by the Project Manager/Supervisor. Qualifications and Requirements Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner. Ability to effectively work with other team members. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Pass and maintain any required security clearance requirement. Comply with Drug Free Workplace policy. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to climb a step ladder and communicate effectively with customers. Detail oriented and basic organizational skills. Education, Skills, and Experience High school education or GED. 1-year relevant work experience within a commercial custodial/janitorial environment. Ability to organize effectively, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly. Focused with a drive to succeed. Ability to manage time effectively and handle both internal and external conflicts.
