Job Details Job Location: Anthony House - Mt Dora, FL 32757 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $15.00 Job Shift: Night Job Purpose The Residential Specialist - Shift3 at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing comprehensive support and supervision to residents during the assigned shift. This role is pivotal in ensuring a safe, supportive, and structured environment that promotes the well‑being and personal development of individuals within the residential program. Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor residents to ensure safety and adherence to program rules and guidelines. Facilitate and support daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and recreational activities. Implement individualized care plans and document residents' progress and any incidents during the shift. Collaborate with other staff members to provide consistent and comprehensive care. Assist in crisis intervention and de‑escalation techniques when necessary. Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to residential care. Foster a positive and therapeutic environment that encourages resident engagement and participation. Qualifications Required Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Required Experience At least one year work experience in a residential program and/or human services‑related field. Equivalent training and experience on a year‑for‑year basis in a related field will be considered. Required Skills and Abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to documentation and reporting. Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. Knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic approaches. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
