Lead Security Engineer

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 5 years of experience in software engineering
• We are looking for someone skilled in planning, designing, and delivering enterprise-grade security solutions
• We need advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Go, Rust, Swift, or C++
• We require strong command of the Software Development Life Cycle in all stages
• You should be able to break complex challenges into practical, solvable components
• We want advanced familiarity with agile practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• Experience with threat modeling, discovery, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing is required
• We need deep knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems
• Preferred: experience building security-focused software on Mac, Windows, or Linux
• Preferred: experience as a full stack developer in an enterprise environment
• Preferred: experience in banking or another highly regulated sector, such as insurance or healthcare
• Preferred: experience communicating effectively with senior business leaders

• We design, build, and troubleshoot creative security solutions, approaching technical problems with fresh thinking beyond standard methods
• We develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
• We reduce security exposure by applying industry intelligence and regulatory guidance to continuously improve our security controls
• We partner with stakeholders and business leaders to understand security requirements and recommend changes during periods of heightened risk
• We carry out discovery, vulnerability, penetration testing, and threat scenario analysis across multiple assets to identify weaknesses
• We perform threat modeling for multiple applications, including external applications that connect to our internal network
