Position: Registered Nurse - RN

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Department: Medical-Surgical

Available Shifts: Nights

Compensation: Up to $1,451.52 – $1,982.16 gross weekly

Duration of Assignment: 12 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Administer direct patient care within your scope of practice
• Educate patients and their families; supervise nursing support staff
• Uphold care standards in the Medical/Surgical Unit
• Take responsibility for the care of assigned patients
• Communicate clinical changes to physicians and respond swiftly to any changes in patient conditions

Qualifications

1. Must possess a current and valid state RN License.
2. BLS certification required upon hire and must remain current.
3. ACLS certification required upon hire and must remain current.
4. Previous experience in an Acute Care hospital setting is necessary.
5. Experience with Ventilator Management is required.
6. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
